MWP measuring system for the measurement of railway wheel profile:
- This system allows to carry out measurements both on disassembled and unbalanced wheelsets.
- It provides basic profile tolerance, even within the wheelset.
- Together with the gauge measurement tool the system also evaluates tolerance for gauge and wheel check.
- The outcome of the evaluation is a status of SATISFACTORY/UNSATISFACTORY or WARNING, in which case the information about unsymmetrical wear and tear of the wheelset is given to ensure the longest possible service life of the wheelset.
- Together with MBD, MWD and MBB systems this system creates an integrated set of measurement tools for the measurement of wheelset parameters.
